The Leopards Head is the Hallmark for precious metal for London. All metals which are hallmarked within the London assay office – and pass -will be stamped with it. Lovely building

What a lovely building! What the picture shows is the entrance to St Bartholomew the great church. Once a mighty church and part of a priory it has survived relatively unscathed for centuries. Learn more about it on our Smithfield  walk.

Free Guided Walks

It’s Local London Guiding Day this Saturday 13 October. Free Guided Walks in the City, Camden, Clerkenwell and Islington and Westminster from qualified guides. On the hour from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. City Walks start at the Old Broad Street entrance to Liverpool Street station. If you’re on the 10.00 am walk then come and say hello!
